Comfort Hug Technique
Another clip from the Kepala Pet Resort Clinic in Melbourne Australia. I work with a student, Laura, who is an experienced dog handler with her Kelpie, Indy. We are working on Back Aways and I am using this exercise to teach the handler and the auditors who are sitting in on her private lesson, about how to raise criteria. We use a "comfort hug" aniety wrap to help Indy feel more comfortable, release tension and therefore be able to concentrate better. These are available by special order.
