Hypervigilance is often called “distraction” by dog trainers. What causes hypervigilance? How can we work with it?

Desensitization is the primary technique I use, once I get to the point that a good foundation is laid for the distraction work to begin. To do that, I need to have some previously installed foundation behaviours. Once prepared, I will begin with desensitization protocols. In this workshop, I am going to take you step-by-step into a magical place, one in which you CAN effect your dog and have a dog who is so connected to you ... that distraction cannot disturb the connection.
